Twyla came over to Judy's this morning and picked me up to take a drive into town. We headed to the cemetery to pay a visit to the family that wasn't able to attend the reunion in person. My grandparents, parents, brother as well as several Aunts and Uncles are there. Cousin Bill had bought some lovely flowers to place on some of the graves yesterday. What a nice thing for him to do!! He must be mellowing out in his old age!!
In the afternoon we all headed over to Cousin Terry and Sherril's home. The house is absolutely beautiful.
Every room has a view of the water. The decks are fabulous and the jetted lap pool spa kept the kids busy all afternoon.
Terry and Sherril ordered in salads and pizza for us all. A truck came and made the pizza right there so it was hot and yummy.
Cousins Tim and Jim spent hours telling stories. It was great to listen to them and hear the laughter. It has been so many years since I heard those two having one of their laugh sessions.
I told Terry that one beautiful guest room has my name on it!! They have done so well with a lot of hard work and hard times. They deserve to be very proud of themselves. Thanks guys for your hospitality!!
Back to Judy's to relax on the deck for a bit before bed. Another fabulous day sharing the closeness of our beautiful family. I hope it is not as many years before we see them all again.
